The Sea Urchin Ring

A very special company project. We were looking for a unique piece of jewellery to create and decided on a Nature piece, a Sea Urchin. The challenge became how to fit a pearl into the design so it was decided that the Sea Urchin must open to show its treasure. The opening mechanism design slowly rotates to reveal Sea Green Emeralds, Black Diamonds, Tsavorites & a large, lustrous Black Pearl. The 14mm pearl chosen possessed a deep black body colour of high lustre.
